Vinay
FOUNDER
“Dancers don't need wings to fly.”Vinay Kapoor harbours over 9 years of experience in Latin dancing. His journey in dance began as a child, trying various dance styles including Bollywood and breakdancing and has continued on to recent years, most notably achieving his Masters in Performance Practices. He entered the exotic world of Salsa, Bachata and Jive in 2013 and as he explored further, he found his true calling in Bachata Fusion.
A wanderer at heart - he has travelled to Spain, France, Germany, Dubai and Italy to intricately explore Sensual Bachata with renowned teachers. After consistently being approached for private lessons when travelling he took the decision to establish his own dance academy in his home city of Mumbai in 2019. Following on from this, Vinay has been invited to collaborate with numerous internationally known Bachata artists for workshops, regular classes and now moving into congresses as well.
With Lights, Camera…Bachata! he now begins his journey to share his own style of Bachata Fusion here in the UK, helping individuals take their potential to a new level.

Katherine
MANAGER & INSTRUCTOR
With 12 years of Jazz, Contemporary and Disco with the Midland’s Academy of Dance and Drama, Katherine has always had a love to perform. By the age of 17 Katherine had completed her Associate level IDTA qualification and began her teaching journey. Not long after this she discovered Cuban and Crossbody Salsa and quickly began competing and performing in the Latin scene too. Once experiencing a taste of the Latin scene Katherine began exploring other styles and quickly fell in love with Bachata which she has trained in consistently for the previous 5 years. Her need for technique and individuality has led Katherine to explore and develop her own style for both Salsa and Bachata that she now wishes to share with the Bachata community.

Gabriel
INSTRUCTOR
Gabriel started his dancing journey at Stepin2Salsa, a school from his home town Brasov, Romania. Here he learnt Traditional Bachata, LA Salsa and traditional Kizomba for 9 months until moving to the UK.
With his first school encouraging such variety, he now promotes this within his own ethos, always guiding people to attend classes with different teachers and encouraging students to explore and develop their own style.
After participating at a Bachata competition and winning 3rd place he realised that Bachata is his soft spot and started attending as many Bachata workshops as possible from world known artists at festivals in the UK and abroad.
